It was pure joy to work with Keith's sister, Kay Haring, and her loving manuscript. You can read more about the book in my Liner Notes
Parsons school mates, Liz Trovato, Carol Bokuniewicz and Shelly Dunn Fremont. Kay took the picture. I flew in two and a half hours earlier and had the most nightmarish cabdriver in the worst traffic in all my 22 years of NYC experience. I was a half hour late and sprinted the last few blocks. All in all, however, it was a roaring success. People who had known Keith lined up by the dozens to buy the book. Downtown friends old and new stopped by. Japanese tourists thought I was Keith. We set them straight. And sold them all books.
